→ For Serving

18 - 4 burger buns
19 - Lettuce leaves
20 - Sliced tomato
21 - Sliced red onion

# Directions:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until ingredients are just blended.
02 - Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties 5 to 6 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from heat and allow to rest briefly.
04 - In a bowl, mash avocados until mostly smooth. Fold in diced tomato, red onion, minced jalapeño if using, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning as desired.
05 - Lightly toast burger buns if preferred.
06 - Place lettuce leaves on bottom buns, add turkey patties, top each with a generous spoonful of guacamole, sliced tomato, and sliced red onion. Cover with top bun halves.
07 - Serve immediately while warm.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Turkey keeps things lighter without sacrificing that satisfying, juicy burger experience.
  • The guacamole is so fresh and tangy it tastes like summer in every bite.
  • Everything comes together in under 35 minutes, perfect for a weeknight dinner that feels special.
02 -
  • Don't press down on the patties while they cook—every time you do, you're squeezing out the juices that keep them tender and flavorful.
  • Make the guacamole close to serving time and cover it with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface to prevent browning if you need to wait.
03 -
  • Cook the turkey patties over medium heat, not high—they'll cook through evenly and stay juicy instead of getting a charred outside with a dry center.
  • If your avocados aren't quite ripe, a pinch of sugar in the guacamole wakes up the flavor and balances any green tannins.
